How to create Voluum campaigns

Voluum is ad tracking performance marketing software which can help you in different ways depending upon your needs. If you are affiliate marketer you can track all ad spent in and conversions in one place. If you are an E-commerce agency, you can tracker how different landing pages and offers pages are performing in one roof. Voluum can be integrated easily with many well-know traffic sources like Google, FB, Microsoft Ads, and Native traffic sources like Taboola, Outbrain, MGID, etc.

What is Voluum Campaign

In Voluum, a campaign is a set of parameters and settings that define how a user’s traffic will be tracked, analyzed and optimized. There are two types of voluum campaigns settings i-e simple and advanced. The simple campaign is for beginner with lesser required options. However, Volumm advanced campaign type is for experienced marketer which give extra control over the settings of the campaigns. A campaign in Voluum typically includes the following components.

Traffic source: The website or platform from where the traffic is coming from, such as Google, Facebook, Email Campaigns, Native or social media platform
Offers: The product or service that the user is promoting, such as a digital product, a subscription service, or a physical product.
Landing page: The page that the user’s traffic is directed to, typically a page promoting the offer.

There are different ways you can create voluum campaign. You can directly send the traffic to offer without landing page. You can also send the traffic to landing page first and then forward the user to offers.

How To Create Voluum Campaign?

Please follow the following steps for creating voluum campaign.

– Offer Created in Voluum.
– Traffic Source Created in Voluum
– Voluum Landing Page

Steps to Create Voluum Campaign:

Step 1

In Voluum, go to Campaigns.

Step 2

Click the Create button and select the Campaign Simple option from the drop-down menu. If you want to create advanced campaign, you can create that as well but it might be confusing for you if you are doing this first time.

Step 3

From the Traffic source drop-down menu select a traffic source element that you have previously created. The traffic source’s name will be automatically added as a prefix to the campaign’s name.

Step 4

Provide a unique and meaningful name for your campaign in the Campaign name text field. The name of the campaign in Voluum is based on the following pattern: {selected_traffic_source} – {country_label or Global} – {your_unique_custom_name}. You can use emojis in your campaign name: simply right-click on the Campaign name text field and select Emojis option from the menu.

Step 5

Select one of the Cost model radio buttons. If you have selected to track costs with one of the four cost models (CPC, CPM, CPA, RevShare), provide also the cost value in the Cost value text field. Step 6

Decide, what your path’s transition should be. You can choose between several redirect modes that are variants of a redirect method of tracking or direct method of tracking. Read the Redirect Modes article to learn more.

Step 7

Now, you are going to define the campaign’s destination. For simplicity, let’s select path and add landing page and offers.
